Joe-Plummer

Joseph “Joe” H. Plummer

Concord, North Carolina, Attorney, Joseph H. Plummer, was born and raised in Concord where he attended local public schools throughout, including Concord High (‘94). Thereafter, Joe received a B.A. from Appalachian State University (‘98 Cum Laude) and a Doctor of Jurisprudence from Campbell University’s Norman Adrian Wiggins School of Law (‘01)

Joe has practiced law continuously in his hometown of Concord since 2001 and is a third-generation attorney, along with his freshly retired law partner and father, Franklin R. Plummer,  grandfather, Robert “Bulldog” “Pony” Irvin, grand-uncle, Johnston Irvin, uncle, Gordon Belo, and cousin, Howard Irvin.  Said family members have practiced law in Concord for over fifty (50) years each.  This family tutelage, experience and connections have proven to be immensely beneficial in achieving very effective legal representation for his clients.  Joe was a three-sport all-conference athlete at Concord High School and remains a proud and ardent supporter of the Concord High Spiders.

Joe has a passion for speaking Spanish & Portuguese and has studied language immersion in Costa Rica, Guatemala and Brazil. He communicates daily in Spanish with the office staff and the law firm’s thriving Hispanic clientele, and Portuguese with his Brazilian-born and raised wife and children.

Joe’s greatest strength is derived not from himself but gifted from Him. At middle-age, Joe has been struck with how big, beautiful, and encompassying  His grace, mercy, forgiveness and love is for all of us who are broken. Joe relates well with many of his clients who are broken by the varied hardships of life as he well realizes he himself is broken, but thankfully he serves the Great Redeemer who picks us up when we fall down with gentleness, tenderness and His easy yoke so long as we believe and trust in Him (Matthew 11:28).

Joe remains active in-and-around Concord having served in various leadership, volunteer and giving positions for numerous non-profit service organizations, including:
